Simply limit the consumption of food for a period of 10 to 12 hours. In other words, if you have had breakfast for about 8 hours, let your last meal on that day be between 18 and 20 o'clock.
How does this method work?
Researchers in this study first looked at the dietary habits of their examinees and found that most people consume food for 15 hours, which is almost all the time they are awake. But when the respondents restricted food consumption to 10 to 12 hours (with no change in diet), during the 16 weeks they lost an average of 3 pounds, had more energy and slept better. Best of all, this effect lasted for almost a year!
The simplest explanation is - if you limit the period in which you eat for 3 to 5 hours, you will ultimately consume less food because you stopped eating it earlier. For example, if you watch television frequently for biscuits or other snacks watching TV, avoiding food after 20 o'clock will eliminate empty calories and sudden changes in blood sugar levels that candy and snacks cause. Also, the prolongation of the period that we do not consume food during the night will positively affect circadian rhythm, which will improve your sleep and metabolism.
